Do the Mater Aquae suites have a hot tub?
Yes. Both suites have a private two-person hot tub with chromotherapy inside the room, available for the whole of your stay.
Is the hot tub private or shared?
Private and inside the suite: nothing is shared with other guests. The two suites are mirror images of each other, so the experience is the same in both.
How long does the hot tub take to fill?
About 30 to 40 minutes, so it is worth starting it ahead of time. The instructions are in the suite.
Where is Mater Aquae in Matera?
At Via Pentasuglia 15, in the centre of Matera, a few steps from the entrance to the Sassi: a 6-minute walk from the Cathedral and 2 minutes from the Convent of Sant’Agostino.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 15:00 to 19:00 and check-out from 8:00 to 10:00. Access is independent, with self check-in available.
Where can I park near Mater Aquae?
Nearby there is free street parking, paid areas and private garages. In the early afternoon a space is easy to find; in the evening and at weekends the attended car park is the better choice.
Is breakfast included?
The suite is stocked with coffee, tea, herbal teas and some packaged products for a breakfast at your own pace, with no set times. The minibar with drinks is included in the rate.
